Broken Bones Broken Promises

As a mom there are some days when you feel like can do anything and everything -- simultaneously. Today was not one of them. I feel like a complete failure and I should turn myself into the nearest Mommy Police.

Last night all three boys fell asleep in the same bed watching a movie. Normally I move each to their own bed, but I was distracted watching Monday Night Football and fell asleep after a close loss to the darn Bears. (I may be a bad mom, but I'm a very good Vikings football fan.)

Unfortunately, our youngest fell off the bed. I sleepily put him in our bed and didn't think much of it despite him crying on and off all night. He was still kind of whimpering this morning which is quite uncharacteristic of him --our 5-year-old, yes, but not Logan.

Well, long story short... He broke his broken collar bone. They don't cast collar bones and say that with young children you can't even tell it was broken after two years of healing.

I'm his mom. I was there. I will know. I promised to keep him safe and never let anything hurt him the moment he was born and I FAILED. I know it could have been much worse, but still...

Hugs to you and yours Supermoms.

Happy and smiley even with a broken collar bone.

iPod Touch Experiment

This is a test. This is only a test. If this had been an actual emergency... Well, then we'd all be in trouble. ;)

Have a cool new gadget that I'm playing with. Technology - gotta love it!

Here's a pic of my little Santa's helpers. :)

Testing 1, 2, 3... GO!

Well, I'm legit. I now have a blog... Lord help me -- well, my family, friends and all who are associated with me from now on!

I really, really wanted to name my blog "Frogs into Princes." Unfortunately, that title was already taken!!

My 3 sons (yes, I'm living a 1960s sit-com in the 2000's - ugh!) are ages almost-9, almost-6 and just-turned-3. (Again, Lord help me!) I love them dearly, but some days -- well, let's just leave it at that.

Well, here's to over-sharing! Let's go!
